Chapter 21 - Sasha's Idea

Tim walks into the room. Meesha, who was sitting in the chair, gets up. Tim has an unusual look on his face.

"You remembered everything," he says, approaching Meesha with a flirtatious expression in his eyes.

Meesha gets chills down her spine. She takes a step back and asks Tim to get control of himself, but Tim ignores her, acting as though he has lost his mind to the passion.

He grabbed Meesha's shoulders and brought his face close to hers. Meesha turns away and yells at him to stop, but she is unable to push him away. Meesha could not move to free herself from his hold because it was so firm.

Meesha cries, "I said leave me," as she tries to free herself from his grasp.

Despite all her efforts, Tim didn't step back. He grips Meesha's face tightly, drawing it closer to him.

"Stop! Fine! I-I-I lied. Meesha blurts out, barely able to speak, "I do not remember a thing," tears streaming down her cheeks.

Tim pushes Meesha away.

Tim sighs as he sits in the chair, "I am sorry, but I wanted the truth."

Meesha, who is still in shock, wipes her tears with her trembling fingers.

Tim says as he gets up, "What I did was wrong, but if you try this ever again I will not be able to trust you anymore." He takes his pillow and, before he leaves, states that he will not be sleeping here.

Meesha looks at herself in the mirror. Though she was red, her face was unusually pale, bearing the marks of Tim's fingers.

It was a shocking incident for Meesha. Tim went too far with this.

It will take Meesha some time to return to her normal state of mind; even if Tim did not mean any harm, she could not accept that he chose this method to extract the truth from her.

Meesha picks up the key, gets into the car, and leaves. Tim has gone to the gym, and the atmosphere at home is extremely tense.

While the househelper was preparing breakfast, Meesha left without checking on it.

At the "Desi Kitchen" building, Meesha pulls over and stops the car. She parks the car and walks into the building.

Looking for her father, she came here.

Meesha wants to give it a shot and be honest with her father. She cannot always take a chance because things are getting out of control.

If this continues, she will become a threat to Tim and those around her.

There have been many changes, and there is no way to know every detail, so this is her only chance to get things back on track before they get ugly.

Since it is not 2024, many of the people at the restaurant have changed. She still remembers a few people.

Instead of going to the restaurant, Meesha goes straight to her father's office. She wonders where her father's assistant is. He used to be at the entrance to his office, but there is no longer room for him.

As she enters the office, she notices a boy sitting in one of the corners. His table is stacked with files, and his head is barely visible.

Meesha thought he's the new assistant.

"Where's my father?" Asks Meesha as she closes the door. The boy ignores her completely.

Meesha asks again, stepping a little closer, "Have you seen my father?"

Still no response.

She taps the table and yells, "Excuse me, I am looking for my father, I said."

The boy jumps onto his chair, startled. He takes a look at Meesha, puts his glasses back on, and takes the cotton swabs out of his ears.

Meesha's jaw dropped.

"Why did you use a cotton swab in your ear at work?" Meesha asks sternly.

"Hehe. Your sister is well known for her constant yelling. My doctor advised me to prevent my ear from loud noises," Wee answers, coming in front of the table.

Sasha enters before Meesha can say anything else.

"What are you doing here?" Strolling over to her chair, Sasha asks Meesha.

Where her father formerly sat, Sasha now holds the position of managing director. There was no need for more explanation.

Meesha was aware that her father was the one who would have compelled her to work for his company. "I guess Sasha finally gave up."

She came here for her father, so she considers going back now.

"No, perhaps it is a better option. Didi might be able to help," Meesha believes. She was fiddling with Wee's hair while thinking to herself, unaware that she was doing so.

"Yah!! What you doing?" Sasha yells, bringing Meesha to her senses.

"Oh! Sorry. I simply lost my mind for a little while."

Sasha tells Wee, who is sticking cotton in his ear once more, to wait outside.

As she looks through the file, Sasha asks, "Are you here to mess with me?"

Meesha twirls in the office, wondering how she should bring up this ridiculous idea of time travel once more.

She's also skeptical of Sasha to believe her.

"What! "Have you gone insane or what?" Says Sasha.

Meesha starts giving Sasha a shoulder massage. About her sister, who has one or two loose screws, Sasha has given up caring.

Meesha leans in to say, "Didi, what if I tell you I time traveled?"

Sasha says, "You want me to kick you out."

Sasha is busy with her work and has no energy to waste on Meesha. She starts by opening one file, signs it, then moves on to the next.

Meesha would have gone insane before her if she started to take her words seriously.

Claiming that Sasha is not listening to her, Meesha snatches a pen from her.

"What do you want me to do?" Sasha says, snatching back her pen, "role play so you can come up with another plot."

Meesha squats down, pulling a long face. With a sigh, Sasha asks her to stand up and share her thoughts.

In an instant, Meesha found a solution to her problems. She quickly gets up and strikes Sasha in the nose as she leans in her direction.

"Oeii! Sorry, and thank you for the idea." Meesha kisses her dear sister on the cheek and quickly heads out.

Trying to hear what is going on inside, Wee is clinging to the door like a lizard, but he manages to back off before Meesha opens it.

"All the best!" Meesha gives Wee a high five.

Why did she wish him luck, Wee wonders.

"Weeeeee!!"

Wee realized why Meesha gave him the thumbs up when he heard Sasha yelling. Shaking his head, he walks into the office.
