Cruzer and Elara stood side by side, their bodies tense as they faced the hulking figure looming in the center of the chamber.
The creature's glowing red eyes tracked their every movement, and the low, guttural growl reverberated through the room, sending a chill down Cruzer's spine.
As the dim light flickered, the creature began to step forward, revealing its full form. It was massive, at least twice the height of Cruzer, with sinewy muscles rippling beneath its obsidian skin. Its body was covered in jagged armor-like scales that shimmered with a dark, unnatural glow. Long, clawed hands dragged across the ground, leaving deep scratches on the stone floor.
"Great," Elara muttered under her breath, gripping her staff tightly. "Just when we thought things were calming down."
The creature let out a deafening roar, shaking the walls of the chamber. The force of the sound sent a gust of wind toward them, almost knocking Elara back.
