Cruzer entered the Adventurer's Guild, the familiar buzz of activity filling the large hall. Adventurers of all ranks and races were scattered around, some boasting about recent conquests, others huddled in quiet discussions.
His eyes scanned the room, searching for someone in particular. Spotting Jean at one of the desks, busy with paperwork, he made his way toward her.
As he approached, Jean looked up from her work and brightened immediately. "Cruzer! You're back!"
"Yeah, just got out of the catacombs," Cruzer replied, a small smile tugging at his lips. "Thought I'd come by to update my rank."
Jean set her paperwork aside, giving him her full attention. "You ranked up? Congratulations! Let's get that sorted out."
"Thanks," Cruzer said with a chuckle. "I somehow managed to hit Adept Mystic. Figured you'd be the best person to help with the paperwork."
