After leaving the Barron's Dragon, Domnus began his way back to where he sells his items.
However, where sold his things just yesterday, sat another merchant. Someone else who wanted to try what Domnus had been doing.
This was both annoying and extremely gratifying for Domnus, gratifying because someone was copying him means that he was doing well, annoying because that was his spot.
Deciding to try and get back at the other merchant Domnus said just across from him.
"Wait," the other merchant said looking a Domnus set up, "You're Domnus right?" he then asked.
"Yes why?" Domnus responded.
"Oh! The name's Yin Lun, I heard of you and wanted to ask you some things," Yun replied with an innocent smile on his face.
"Well, why not," Domnus replied sitting down at his stand.
Domnus didn't have too much to do other than wait for someone to buy something.
"Thank you!" The man said happily, "Ok let's see," he commented before pulling out a list.
"Man, you were prepared," Domnus mumbled.
"Ok, how strong are you?" The merchant then asked.
"Well, pretty strong. I've faced some powerful beings before," Domnus replied with a smile.
"Well how powerful is 'pretty strong'," Yun asked.
"Who's the strongest adventurer in the city?" Domnus responded.
"That would be Ottar, the captain of the Freya familia," the merchant replied.
'Oh,' Domnus thought, 'That's who was standing next to Freya."
"I could take him," Domnus replied much to the excrement of the merchant.
"You can! When can I set a match between you two?" The merchant feverishly replied.
"Never," Domnus replied shutting the man down, "Just because I can fight doesn't mean I like to."
"Fine," the merchant sadly said, "Next question, are you one of the Gods?" the merchant asked.
"No, unless somehow I became one on my journey here," Domnus responded.
"Ok, what race are you?" The merchant asked.
"Well, I'm one hundred percent human," Domnus said smiling.
"Are you sure?" the merchant said, "Not just a little bit demi-human?" the merchant said leaning in.
"Nope, and why do you want to know so badly?" Domnus responded rather confused.
"A friend of mine wanted to know," the merchant responded not clearing up Domnus's question, "Anyways, how large is that bag in the inside and is it infinite?" the merchant asked with a questioning glare.
"Well, I can tell you it isn't infinite, but I have yet to find the size limit," Domnus responded looking at the bag, "I have crates of stuff in there, and it still isn't full."
"Ok," the merchant said amazed at the size of the bag, "Next, do you have your eye on anyone," the merchant asked with a sly smile.
"Me? I already have the love of my life," Domnus commented, "Selling things to make a bit of a profit," he said with a smile.
"That's not what I meant," the merchant responded.
"I am very aware," Domnus said back.
"Fine then," the merchant said looking back at his list, "Have you been in a team?"
"Kind of," Domnus replied unsure, "I and a few others stuck together for week or so but eventually went our own ways,"
"Why were you together?" the merchant questioned.
"They wanted items, I wanted items, need I say more?" Domnus responded with a shrug.
"Yes, yes you do," the merchant said back.
"Well, I'm not going to," Domnus said.
"Ok, then that's that," Yun said, "That's everything I got," he said.
"But that's not all the questions you will be answering," a voice called out.
Looking over to the voice Domnus and the merchant saw it was Freya and her guard.
The merchant was absolutely gobsmacked at Freya, while Domnus was slightly annoyed.
"You still have something to explain to me," Freya said.
"Oh yes," Domnus replied, "You have one more item to pick from, so which will it be?" Domnus asked.
While Freya was more than curious about the 'Greater Health Potion', she was determined to stay inside her plan that she made.
"The odd dice that you have shone Loki," Freya said.
"That one," Domnus said, "I got that off a weird man when traveling between places," Domnus said, "I think," he added.
"You think?" Freya responded.
"It was a long time ago," Domnus admitted, "Memories are a bit fuzzy," he said while scratching his head.
"Ok then, what two 'places' were you traveling between?" Freya asked.
"That's not part of the deal," replied, "I told you where I got it, don't need to tell you how," Domnus said.
"But you told me how you made the potion?" Freya responded confused.
"This time I don't feel like it," Domnus said back shrugging his shoulders.
"You," Freya began, "You know what? I have better things to do," she said before beginning to walk away.
"Remember to pay the Goibmiu familia!" Domnus told her as she left.
"Don't worry I always keep my promises," Freya said while leaving with the bear man.
"Ok, one last question I just added to the list," Yun said choosing to ignore that Domnus had a conversation with the most powerful familia leader.
"Then let's hear it," Domnus said curious.
"How many places have you been to?" Yun asked Domnus.
"Well," Domnus said, "That's actually something I like to keep private," Domnus admitted.
"You can't remember, can you?" Yun asked Domnus.
"Of course I can, " Domnus responded, "I keep a record under here," he said shooting a quick glance to the tally marks underneath his booth.
"Ok, now that's really it," Yun says.
"You are one hundred percent sure," Domnus said not believing him.
"Well," Yun replied, "Just one more, what familia are you from?" Yun asked.
"None," Domnus replied.
"Come on I know anything you have said could have been a lie but I know that's not true," Yun said with smile.
"Believe what you want to believe," Domnus said back.
"Well, it's about time I head back," the merchant said picking up his stuff, "Got some things to do for my family," he said.
"Well, see you later!" Domnus said as he left.
Yun waved back as he left, but as soon as Yun looked away from Domnus, Domnus put his stuff right where Yun was.
"Finally back to normal," Domnus mumbled to himself.
(Sorry for taking so long)
