(A/N - Much love fellow Daoists! We have been climbing the charts live crazy, and our sect is growing by the minute.)
(PS - I know the image of the MC doesn't do it justice, as I couldn't find some type of art that depicts Garou's physique plus the MC's face. Post some images here if you have any better options. The amount of crying I've seen about him being too "muscular" is so stupid.)

Seated inside the hospital, Gabriel looked around at his surroundings. A long white hallway stretched in front of him, with windows reaching from floor to ceiling right across from his seat.
The entire building smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals, a scent that felt even stronger to his heightened senses.
He took Bella to the receptionist, who admitted her to the emergency department.
After receiving multiple messages from Charlie, they seemed to have stopped altogether once he was notified that she was fine and waiting for a check-up.
Tapping his foot while remembering a song in his head, Gabriel absentmindedly stared out the windows.
Hurried footsteps sounded through the automatic doors as Gabriel watched a sweat-drenched Charlie rush through the hallways. Pointing to the doors, Gabriel received a curt nod from the worried father before he rushed past.
Rosalie and Emmett were behind him, both focused on Gabriel. Their faces showed concern and apprehension, as if they thought they might daunt him.
Standing up, he walked towards Rosalie and pulled her into his embrace, nodding at Emmett at the same time. "She's fine, no worries. The nurse said it's just shock. They're just waiting for your dad to check up on her."
"That's good to hear," Rosalie said.
"Luckily, Ed was near her and pulled her out in time, right?" Emmett added with a slight chuckle.
'Do they actually think I was blind?' Gabriel thought. 'He was standing literally next to me.' Though he kept his thoughts to himself, he nodded slightly at their words. It would do more harm to call them out now.
The three of them sat down and chatted for a few minutes until the emergency doors opened and Carlisle exited. His eyes scanned the hallway until he noticed the trio. Walking towards them, he smiled.
"You must be Gabriel. It's nice to put a face to the name," he said, extending his hand. Gabriel quickly stood up, grasping his hand in a firm handshake.
"It's nice to meet you, Mr. Cullen, though not the best timing, I guess," he said, scratching his head awkwardly.
"Rosalie and Emmett have told me a lot about you," Carlisle said, looking at his 'children,' with a kind smile. "I hope you join us for dinner soon. I'm quite the fan of your mother's music."
Tensing up, Gabriel merely nodded. Rosalie, seeing his reaction, quickly held his hand in a supportive gesture before eyeing Carlisle.
"Well, onto the news. Bella is fine, just some slight shock. Nothing to worry about." He held a charismatic smile, one that was trained after years of being a doctor to comfort families of patients.
A buzzing sound came from his pocket as he fished out his mobile phone. Reading what seemed to be a message, Carlisle briefly looked at Emmett.
"Sorry, but I have something I need to do. Emmett, could you come help me for a bit?"
Hearing his words, Emmett stood up, waving at Rosalie and Gabriel before following his father. Both their figures disappeared after turning the corner.
"Are you still in the mood to show me your place?" Rosalie said, leaning her head on Gabriel's shoulder.
"Mm, yeah. We'll see Bella tomorrow." Standing up, still holding her hand, Gabriel led her outside the hospital before they entered the car and drove off.

Parking the car in the garage, Gabriel and Rosalie stepped out. He brought her through the door that led to the entrance of the house, turning back to face her.
"Welcome to my home," he said, looking around the walls. "It's bleak compared to yours, so don't judge me too much."
Slapping his shoulder, Rosalie walked past him and ventured deeper into the house. He guided her to the living room, which had plush leather couches facing a 71-inch flat screen TV positioned over the fireplace.
Behind the living room was an open kitchen layout, with marble countertops and flashy appliances.
Rosalie excitedly walked through the kitchen, snooping through the pantry and fridge. Turning towards Gabriel in shock, she said, "You don't cook, do you? There are literally just snacks!"
Quickly shutting the doors, Gabriel sheepishly turned away from her. "It's a bachelor pad! Snacks make me healthier, I swear."
"Pffft, yeah sure, smartass." She laughed at his remark as she walked towards the living room and plopped herself on the couch.
Following suit, he sat down next to her before reaching over and pulling her into his embrace. They both fell backward, Rosalie fully lying on Gabriel's body. She looked at his face, a smile blooming on her own.
"Bit of an interesting day, wouldn't you say?" Gabriel asked.
Rosalie avoided his eyes, not wanting to lie to him. She simply buried her head next to his. "Yeah."
Not pushing the obvious yet avoided subject, Gabriel squeezed her body tightly as he closed his eyes.
'I'm not sure what I feel yet, but right now I know that this is perfect.'
They both lay there in silence as the sound of rain splashed on the windows of the house, the low hum of a thunderstorm gathering. Gabriel's fingers stroked Rosalie's hair as her body vibrated in his arms, a deep but happy sigh escaping her mouth.
With her beautifully soft but somehow firm body pressed against his, Gabriel did everything possible to control his urges. Her large breasts moved up and down against his chest as she contentedly purred within his grasp while he played with her hair.
Feeling the heat rising from his body, along with something else, Rosalie smirked. She turned her head to face his neck and began breathing heavier into his ear. Her body wiggled slightly as she found a comfortable position.
Gabriel gulped as he felt his crotch line up over her stomach, his obvious hardness pressing into her skin. He held her body tighter in reaction to the feeling burning deep within him. Turning his head to face hers, he noticed an alluring smile on Rosalie's face.
Unable to control himself, Gabriel leaned in as his lips locked with hers firmly. His hand snaked from her lower back to her head, and his tongue penetrated her mouth. Both tongues danced around one another as their saliva mixed in a heated battle.
Rosalie moaned into his mouth, her body squirming within his tight grip. She moved her body upward as her lower body met his, slowly grinding on top of his crotch as they were both lost in their kiss.
Gabriel pulled away from her mouth, kissing her cheek and moving down her jawline to her neck, where he kissed and sucked her smooth skin.
Rosalie's hand trailed across his body, her fingers moving under his shirt and caressing his muscular upper body as she groaned in delight.
Gabriel moved both of his hands as he trailed down her supple body until he met her ass. Grasping the bubble butt in his hand, he squeezed as much as his hands could contain, eliciting a low groan from Rosalie.
His fingers trailed in aggression as he pulled her cheeks apart, moving his fingers and pulling on her hard, almost trying to pull her body even closer to him.
"God, you're so sexy, Rose," Gabe breathed warmly into her ear, her body shuddering at the sensation.
Turning her face, Rosalie licked Gabriel's neck before feathering kisses along it and down to his collarbone. Unable to speak words, he just let out another moan.
"Mmmm."
Gabriel, feeling his urges almost exploding, moved his hand from her shapely rear and crept his way to the edges of her pants, his fingers ever so close to entering her pants and exploring her depths.
Before he could reach his target, Rosalie abruptly pulled back. She raised her head, looking deeply into Gabriel's eyes, before sighing and hugging him, bringing the intimate moment to a pause.
"I really want this; you don't know how long I've been waiting, Gabe," she said, her voice a whisper.
"I have something I need to tell you before we continue."
Sitting up, Gabriel nodded before pulling Rosalie into his lap. Her butt firmly sat on his crotch and her body lay across his.
"Sure, whatever it is, tell me."
Taking a deep breath, Rosalie calmed herself down before peering into his eyes.
"I'm sure you have some questions about some inconsistencies with me and my family," she mumbled, clutching his shirt tightly.
He did nothing but kindly stare into her eyes, beckoning her to continue.
"You're probably confused after today. You saw Ed standing next to you, and then a second later, he was saving Bella."
Gabriel nodded before chuckling internally. He kissed her head gently and then dropped the bomb she wasn't even prepared for.
"You mean about you and your family being vampires, right?"
