After the death of the first princess and the exposure of the crimes "Committed" by the first prince and the church have been made public, resulting in quiet huge backlash from the people.
The church itself was already quite weakened after it was losing its power through the years, making it one of the weakest factions in the kingdom.
But after the whole "Second Prince assassination" and the "First Princess assassination" alongside the fact that the pope and the first prince were called the mastermind behind everything alongside the whole fact that everything makes it looks like they did it made….
