"Can't I use this place?"
(This place was a hideout for an item maker who was an alchemist AND there are few alchemist tools here that I saw in the public workshop. There are some more things that I didn't saw before and some things seem to have been damaged, probably when he lost his mind and went on the rampage around the room, but still, it is not that bad. Maybe I can somewhat restore those things?)
(If I get rid off the ink markings and write down the code and the location, I will be the only person with an access to this place!)
"Then I can conduct any shady experiments I want in peace!"
"But then, how does equipment needed for alchemy and blacksmithing cost?"
"Right now I need more alchemy equipment, but it would be nice if I could also get blacksmithing equipment."
"Still, the current situation is way better than I could have imagine!"
"Not only I have new class that can became something nasty in the future."
(But right now, to be even able to use any plagues, I need a lot of materials and other stuff.)
(But this isn't the main problem.)
(I cannot create any real harmful plagues with the materials I have on my hand. The only harmful plague I can create is with the green dandelion, but its sucks ass.)
(Well, maybe if I made it few more times, twerk things here and there, I maybe be able to create something at least useable.)
(But I need some different stuff, if I want to research more about alchemy and the blacksmithing.)
(However, now I need to secure this place and write down the code and do something about the black market grass so nobody will find the clues.)
"Anyway, I have a lot of work to do."
The first thing I did after obtaining this base was to write down the location and the code to the base before the processing to get rid of the grass without being spotted by the others players.
The next thing I did was to look around and find out about the different alchemy tools and devices, trying to find out what I have.
As it turns out, I got myself at some rather good stuff… But the problem was repairing something called [Extraction Pod] that requires specific magic made glass…. And its bit pricy like hell!
How the hell that guy got?! And why the fuck you literally had to destroy the priciest thing you had?!
Well, beside it, there were some other damaged equipment, but repairing them shouldn't be much problem… But…. I mean should I bring them to the city? I mean, the NPCs aren't some mindless A.I and they would probably ask questions…. Would I get arrested?
I mean, I did found it in the cave of the desperate that committed people and did inhuman experiments on them and all…. Yea… Its maybe better idea if I repair them myself…. But to do that I need to practice and improve my blacksmithing skills as well.
So, yea…
By the way I looked up for the equipment related to the alchemy and blacksmith, I mean the things you need to use them and as it turns out, you can buy them…. But they are bit pricy like hell…
FUCK ME!
…
Calm the fuck down.
What I need right now is two things.
Money.
Materials.
The money I can maybe get if I fuck the hunting and focus on producing stuff… But the problem are materials.
IF I want to research more alchemy AND find possible to create a harmful plague, I need some things like poisons or some harmful substances.
The current materials I can get my hands on are NOT enough.
Leveling up and hunting isn't my main priority right now.
What I need right now are materials and money.
But the problem is, that I lack any harmful materials. I have green dandelion, but common, can it really be called harmful?
So, until I found something like poison or something, I will be forced to continue hunting around until I finds something that I can use.
Honestly, I say screw leveling up.
My main priority right now is to develop my alchemy and plagues.
I don't care if I will lag behind other players in terms of leveling up.
Once I create the plague I'm hoping for, THESE PEOPLE ARE SCREWED.
Still, right now I need is harmful materials and to find anything, I need to look around.
"…."
(Okay. I'm here. The city. Specifically, the quest board.)
(The "Adventures" or "The Wander" like the NPCs describe us can put on the quest like from the games.)
(The quest board is something accessible to everybody to the public.)
(The NPCs publish their quest on it and the players can take it.)
(However, from what I know from online and personal experience, most if not all of the quest on the quest board are repeatable quest that can be cleared over and over by different people and some quests can be cleared multiple times by the same person.)
(The repeatable quest from the quest board aren't that good, but it's better than nothing.)
(Asking around the city about the dangerous substances or poisons maybe not an wisest decision.)
(So, maybe I will find something on the quest board? There is a chance that there are some quests involving and poisons monster
(With me being undead, I have natural defense bonus against poisons…. But would there be an-)
(Oh found one.)
[Sewer Rat Extermination]
[Rank: F]
[The sewers beneath the city were infested with the rats' monsters called sewer rats.]
[Sewer rats and big dog sized monsters that can spit the poison around with their fangs and claws.]
[The monster usually don't leave the sewers since they despise sunlight, but there is still a chance of some of them appearing.]
[Recommended level: 20]
[Complete condition]
[Bring 30 sewer rats' tail to city garrison.]
[Reward(s): EXP / 6 Silver Coin (100 copper coins = 1 Silver Coin).]
(Huh… The rewards seems… Pretty good?)
(The evil rabbit meat usually sells for 15 coppers and the meat from the big evil rabbit sold for 40 coppers.)
"…"
"Wait, dude." – said the player next to the Phantasia.
"Hm? What is it?"
"Em… You are not thinking about accepting that quest, right?"
"…Em… Why not?"
"Well…. It's just… It's way too fuking annoying."
"?"
[Few moments later – In the city sewers.]
"HOLY FUKING SHTI! ITS LITERLY SMELLS LIKE SHIT IN HERE!" – shouted Phantasia.
(Fuck me!)
(Why the fuck they made it like that!)
(No fuking wonder they offered 6 silver for this! Nobody wanted to take this bullshit quest!)
(Even that guy who warned me told me it was not worth it!)
(Fuck me… Considering his expression back then, I guess he did that quest before...)
"…."
"Shit… I think I may puke…"
(…)
(I mean sure, sewers sting and all, but holy shit… This is way too much!)
(What the fuck is the problem with the people living here?!)
(What do they eat?!)
(Jezus fuking Christ!)
(No wonder these motherfucking NPCs want to use players to clear up their mess!)
(Okay! I have now some motivation to fuking murder everybody in the city!)
(…)
(Well, I was planning on doing that anyway, but still!)
(…)
(Fuck me. Let's just get this quest over with and get the hell out.)
Phantasia began walking through the sewers while trying to endure the foul odor.
However, before long he ended up coming across a giant rat monsters that began running straight towards Phantasia.
[Sewer Rat – Level 20] x3.
"?!"
"Jezus! They are really dog sized!?"
Phantasia aimed with his crossbow and shot it at the, hitting it right in the head and knocking it away, and somehow killing it in one shot? Huh. Headshots do really matters.
The two other rats ran towards the Phantasia, forcing him to switch to the magic.
"[Poison Shot]!"
Phantasia fired a bullet of poison at the rat monster; however, the rat monster was completely unbothered by it.
"?!"
(Wait what?!)
(…)
(Oh… I think they may have poison defense resistance and maybe resistance like me…. I honestly should have seen that coming miles away…)
Before long the rat got near the Phantasia, but their path was suddenly blocked by the giant white furballs.
"?"
[Big Evil Rabbit]
"Say hello to my kind of big friends?"
"Anyway, get them."
The giants rabbits began beating up the rats one sidedly.
The rats tried fighting back, but by the look of things their attacks barely did anything to the rabbits.
It honestly didn't took that long for the rabbits to kill the rats.
"…"
(Huh…. I mean I know that these rabbits are strong and all… But they barely did any damage? So why-)
"Wait a second?! Why are you losing HP?!"
[Status: Poisoned]
"!"
"Shit! [Rondo: Return]!"
Phantasia called back one of his giant rabbits' monsters.
"…"
"Okay… They barely do any damage…. But they have a nasty poison… Fuking FUN!"
(Its probably the other reason why people avoid this place.)
(Not only a nasty smell, but also a poison that can shit tons of damage.)
"…. This…. It will be way more annoying than I though."
