Conrad's fist trembled as he stared down at Lucius, who remained silent while his piercing yellow eyes seemed to be studying every inch of him even on his knees.
After a moment of silence, Lucius threw his head back in laughter, which echoed through the pit. It wasn't sinister or anything like that, but it still unsettled Connie.
"What's so funny?"
Before he could get his answer, Lucius first rose to his feet, his composure had returned, and his smirk was just as sharp as ever.
"See into the future? Not exactly. You're right about the eyes though. They're part of it, but they are not the whole story"
Lucius said while gesturing at his yellow eyes.
"What do you mean by that?"
When Connie asked, Lucius immediately adjusted his pristine white suit, which slightly had dust on, like a teacher about to lecture an ignorant student. Connie narrowed his eyes at this.
