The two assassins locked eyes, and the atmosphere of the room shifted, it was almost suffocating. An Arcana Card had suddenly appeared between Kimra's fingers, titled: The Lovers.
Its intricate design displayed two intertwined figures surrounded by a cascade of roses, their hands reaching toward the crescent move above.
Without a word, she activated. The card began to disintegrate into pink particles that vanished in the air.
"Wait a minute…she didn't say anything, yet her Arcana Card still activated? But isn't a Diviner supposed to call out the card's name to activate it or it won't work? Or was Mel lying about that?"
If he remembered correctly, out of all the Diviners he had seen active their Arcana Card, which wasn't a lot since it had only been two people. Still, out of those two, Meliora was the only one he had ever seen using an activation command.
