Chapter 115 - Chapter 115: Sword Come

On the battlefield, Roshi stared in awe at Satoru Hyuga, who was flying in the air, a multitude of swords behind him gleaming menacingly, like countless Damocles swords ready to fall. If not for his molten armour, sweat would have been visibly dripping down his forehead.

The ability to fly meant unparalleled mobility. In the ninja world, only a few could fly, and they were all renowned powerhouses. Tsuchikage Ōnoki, despite their differences, was undoubtedly one of the strongest ninjas alive, largely due to his flight capability. Imagine you're casually eating hotpot and singing when suddenly a Dust Release attack descends from the sky—there's no surviving that.

The swords behind Satoru possessed the potential to annihilate regular ninjas just as easily. From high above, Satoru looked down at Roshi and waved his hand. The countless swords seemed to receive a command simultaneously, descending with terrifying force toward Roshi.

Gritting his teeth, Roshi's chakra surged violently. Borrowing the Four-Tails' chakra, his molten armour grew even more intense, and a molten tail sprouted from his backside. Crossing his arms over his head, he braced to endure the attack.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

The swords rained down, each strike echoing with the clash of metal on molten rock. Roshi staggered back under the assault, the intense heat melting the swords upon impact, forming molten pools at his feet. When the barrage ceased, Roshi panted heavily.

Close call...

Looking up at Satoru, Roshi was deeply shaken. Satoru's unpredictable tactics and an endless array of abilities left him reeling. He hadn't repeated a single technique used against Han, instead unveiling new flight and sword mastery capabilities.

Recalling the terrifying metal giant from the rumours, Roshi's shock intensified. No one knew the limits of Satoru's powers; perhaps he had even more hidden abilities. "Ōnoki, you've underestimated him. If he isn't eliminated, Iwagakure has no future."

Grateful his Lava Release and the Four-Tails' powers countered metal, Roshi shuddered to think what might have happened otherwise. The real battle was yet to come, he thought, as long as he could hold off Satoru.

Taking a deep breath, Roshi yelled, "Satoru Hyuga! You're not as formidable as Han claimed. My Lava Release defence is more than enough to handle your attacks!"

"Ridiculous," Satoru retorted from above, looking down with a cold smile. If you want to turtle up, I'll break your shell with the power of my swords.

"The world was dark before I arrived to wield the sword," Satoru murmured, his eyes shining brightly.

"Sword, come!"

His voice, though not loud, seemed to carry an infinite power, resonating across the battlefield. Konoha ninjas in the midst of battle felt an unexpected pull, glancing over to see their kunai and swords trembling as if summoned by an irresistible force. The metal tools elongated into sharp swords, flying to join the mass behind Satoru.

One, two, three, ten thousand...

In mere breaths, the sky behind Satoru was filled with a sea of swords, a sight far more imposing than before.

So cool...

Minato Namikaze's eyes sparkled as he gazed at Satoru amidst the sword sea. "I'll call this technique 'Magnet Release: Spiraling Sword Dance Howling Hundred Style!'"

On the battlefield, ninjas paused in awe at the endless sea of swords.

"What kind of jutsu is this?"

"This power... can it even be wielded by a human?"

Only Rin Uchiha rolled her eyes. She knew Satoru too well. He could have defeated Roshi with other techniques but chose this method to show off.

Roshi gulped, suddenly feeling very small under the vast sword sea. Lava Release and the Four-Tails' power seemed insignificant.

Dread consumed him as he realized he was facing a power capable of turning the tide of war. Without reservation, his chakra surged, borrowing more from the Four-Tails. His molten armour peaked in intensity, sprouting three more tails alongside the original.

"If you were truly the Great Sage, I'd turn and run without hesitation..."

"But you're not," Satoru declared, his fingers moving slightly. The sword sea behind him split into two spiralling dragons of swords, hurtling down at Roshi.

Hmph!

Roshi took a deep breath, his molten tails curling protectively around him. The sword dragons struck with unmatched force, overwhelming Roshi's defences. His molten armour peeled away under the relentless assault, only to regenerate with the Four-Tails' power. Each strike felt like countless needles piercing him, but he held firm.

Frowning, Satoru raised his right hand, and the remaining swords coalesced into a massive metal sword. "If individual swords don't work, then..."

"Block this if you can!"

With a sweeping motion, Satoru sent the colossal sword plummeting toward Roshi. Roshi's eyes widened in horror, a cold dread seeping through him.

Inside his mind, he screamed to the Four-Tails, "Son Goku! Give me all your power!"

"Roar!"

The Four-Tails' roar echoed, flooding Roshi with chakra. His massive molten hands rose to meet the descending sword dragon and the giant sword. The ground cracked under the immense pressure, and Roshi's legs were driven into the earth. Despite his efforts, the giant sword descended.

Boom!

The ground shook, dust and debris obscuring the view. "Roshi!" Kitsuchi's eyes widened in shock. As the dust settled, a massive chasm appeared. Roshi and his molten armour had vanished, only a few traces of lava trickling into the fissure.

Panting slightly, Satoru felt the toll of such extensive electromagnetic manipulation. He prepared to reform hundreds of swords to continue his assault when his expression froze. His Byakugan detected something alarming in the distance.

"I see... so this was your real plan?"

"No wonder you fought so hard to stall me!"
