Chapter 31 - Trash is Racist

The golden horizon with the silver stars propelled Trash to look at the egg with disgust.

I hate this rock.

Suddenly the egg got cracks, and soon a spirit emerged from it, and soon a man manifested in front of Trash Lilly and G.

Hello everyone. I am the god of magic.

The man had orange hair, blue eyes, was around 2 meters tall, and had dark black skin.

You, you, I don't like you. Trash pointed at the man.

What? Is it because I am black?

No bec.

Ah, it is, of course. There are even rascists in the magic scene; I knew it. Now lay down your live racist.

The man directly attacked Trash, but G stepped in to block the attack like she always did, but felt that this casual attack was quite difficult to block. She stood there and took it with all her might and used her strongest spell to disperse it.

She defended, but blood was running from her mouth; she overdid it and hurt herself internally to conjure such a powerful spell.

Oh? You blocked that? Why are you shielding the racist?

First of all, are you really the god of magic?

Yes, of course?

Well, he is not a racist; he is just sensitive to other forms of mana, and the more powerful it is, the more he doesn't like it.

Oh, oh, oh really? It is one of them. But weren't they instinctive? What is your element, young man?

It is trash.

Hmm hmmmmm. Trash, yeah, that makes sense. It would be called trash. Well, others would tell you that it is, at least.

You know more about his element? G asked. Yes, his element is an element that has no name. You could say it was never meant to exist in the first place.

What does that mean?

Well, as the elements of magic were created by me, something unexpected happened. As you might or might not know, everything needs to be in some sort of unversal balance. Even the gods cannot escape from it. And as I created magic, something else emerged.

It was also magic, yet it didn't have a name since I didn't plan for it to exist. And that is your element. It is the counterforce to my magic. It is an element that should be strong enough to compete with all other elements combined and is strictly against all.

What happened though? People who were awakened with this element were rare and hunted down by other mages, so I thought it had gone extinct. Well, I guess I was wrong. By the way, young girl, you are quite talented to block my attack. Do you want to learn magic from me?

Young girl? You know that I was born 400 years ago, right?

Yes, but for me, you are still a young girl. It's fine, I won't kill him. I recognize that he is not a racist; he is just my counterforce, so he has to hate me.

Well, I am fine with you teaching me, but I still will teach him. Is that ok for you?

Yes sure. Maybe one day he gets strong enough to challenge even me. It will be fun.

Let's see what we can do. First, I see that your elemental affinities are close to the maximum. I will teach you the ultimate form of magic shortly after you complete your affinities. One hint: you need to combine all elements. I split them up, so only combining them can give you the true power of a real mage.

Not many people ever reached that stage, but trust me, it is just the beginning for your progress as a mage. Once you reach the stage of the perfect element, your journey of becoming the greatest mage will start.

I don't care about being the greatest. I just want to be strong enough so that I can do what I want to, that's all.

And what do you want to do?

Now? Well, I plan to kill my old master with the help of this guy. It would be humiliating to be beaten by your disciples disciple after all. And add a multiplicator if he calls himself Trash. After that, I will just do what comes to my mind—I don't know yet.

Ok, your character seems good enough. It is quite weird though that you hate your old master so much that you are willing to train a disciple just for better revenge.

Well, this is just my style. I like to pay back debts after all and love to pay some interest. G was chukeling, thinking back to her past.

Her past was dark, as it was the time when witches were burned, so she was always hunted yet never caught. She had to fight from day to night and could never relax.

The life of being hunted was long ago but was still fresh in her mind as she still had dreams about that time a lot.

In another space:

There was trash all over the world and no way to hide from it—just trash, nothing more. As the cycle of life and death repeats itself, you will see evolution, but what is evolution to the universe? The universe stretches and will contract itself. That is what we call the life span of everything. Yet for the universe, it is just like a muscle. It happens over and over again. Nobody knows why, but maybe at the end of the muscle is just another lifeform. Just like us. Also knowing things smaller and larger than themselves. Yet controlling the entire universe. For us, it would be a god, yet the god knows nothing about us. That is, of course. Just one possibility of many, yet the point I am making is that we just don't know. We can assume what we want, but fighting over who is right is just foolish.

We as humans are insignificant for everyone else outside of our planet, so we should make sure to at least don't fight amongst ourselves.
