Boom! Boom! Boom!

Sounds of roars and fists clashed, the world shook and mountains crumbled.

It seemed as if the world would end, like a true apocalypse has indeed desended, there was no hope what so ever.

All the top experts gathered just outside the space of world of the forsaken saints, the all gazed as the immortals desended each and everyone of them radiating dominance and crushing presence.

Compared to all the peak expect, of the world of forsaken saints, ants would even be better off than them when facing the immortals. They where like a speck of dust infront of them.

At this moment, one of the immortals looked at his rival by his side and said to him…

"Are you certain that this is the world where the Asura Spirit will be born?" Said Feng, an immortal Emperor.

"Ahh, Feng you should know that although we are rivals that would be the last thing I will ever joke with" An Wei said, as his gaze turned deathly gastly radiating deep bloodlust.

"This world must cease to exist, the Asura Spirit can never be allowed to exist!!!" An Wei spoke as he released a beam of red light, it seemed as though it would burn the souls of every expert of the world of forsaken saints.

Ahhh!

Cries resounded throughout space as many of their souls were eliminated.

Seeing what was happening the grand elder, the oldest man to have ever lived in the world of forsaken saints since its conception spoke up.

"Seniors! Have mercy, what could a world as insignificant as ours done to provoke you?" The elder spoke as he trembled to no end. Even breathing was hard as it felt like a mountain of pressure had descended upon him.

Immortal Emperor Feng spoke up at this moment…

"Even an insignificant speck of dust dares to speak in front of me?"

"Die!" 

Just as that word left his mouth the grand elder's soul died and dissipated in that instant.

All others looked and involuntarily took in a breath of cold air (just an expression because non of the experts there could breath at that very moment)

"HaHa" laughed An Wei, he looked up to Immortal Emperor Feng and said…

"Feng be they even as insignificant as a speck of dust, they at least should know what killed them don't you think?"

"Feng, the sovereign, sent us down here personally. We cannot afford to dilly-dally any longer, let's get this over with the world spirit of this world is already dead, it's already surpassing how this world managed to survive for so long already. The world won't last much any longer" An Wei said seriously

Although it seemed as a whisper to the immortals present, their voice boomed and it resounded throughout the world of forsaken saints even killing off all the mortals present within that world.

Just then deep within the world of forsaken saints, Li Kai emerged from seclusion, he was a peak expert during his time and has already lived for a thousand years.

Li Kai used a staff to fight which was not only unique but also rather uncommon as if becoming an oddity. His realm of cultivation was comparable to the realm of the grand elder who just died at the age of seven thousand years.

With this, it could be seen how outstanding his talent for cultivation was for him to reach such a realm with a staff nothing less.

Seeming to sense the death of the elder who just passed he re-emerged from seclusion and immediately fled in the opposite direction from the war zone.

Li Kai, had no family whatsoever he was born an orphan in this saint world, growing in the wild completely on his own effort, his will alone was unyielding which helped him surmount dangers in a world where the strong rules the weak.

In other words, he had no attachment whatsoever to this world. Li Kai fled as he made use of saint force as the name of their world implies (world of forsaken saints)  and, controlling the gravity around him he fled to the outer region of space. Li Kai is a Saint Sage, the highest possible realm in that world.

Despite this, fleeing was exceedingly hard as the gravity had suddenly become a hundred times denser.

Li Kai rushed forth, utilizing his own vitality and blood he burned them to achieve greater speed breaking through the limits of this world he finally existed outside space and continued.

Li Kai wasn't so foolish as to go towards the battlefield as he clearly heard what the experts said. This world is done for, even their world spirit was dead, a being that existed since the conception of the world, what then could he, a mere Saint Sage do?

Of course his escape would not be made so easy, an immortal Emperor froze the space of about a million miles around Li Kai completely immobilizing him.

"An Wei… It looks like a speck of dust almost escaped under your nose while you were having the time in the world dealing with these ants" Immortal Emperor Feng said as he gazed coldly at Li Kai.

His soul froze, time stopped as they both met each other's gazes.

Immortal Emperor An Wei's face darkened, clearly displeased. 

Li Kai seemed to sense it was all over, as he noticed that all around him, he alone remained with five other Immortal Emperor's surrounding him on all sides.

The world of forsaken saints has already exploded in a supernova like a blinding light dispersing its asteroids all around outer space. None of them however came near him due to the presence of the immortals.

As Li Kai turned to his left, an endless sea of corpses drifted amidst the asteroids creating a gastly but weirdly beautiful scenery, like a painting made of blood they both intertwined against each other.

Despair from the very depth of his soul washed over him somehow he knew that it was over.

Yet he hated it, to die like this… for no just cause, all his life he has lived by a moral he doesn't just kill anyone but must have a solid reason to do so.

Clearly the immortals in front of him went against his morals making him extremely unwilling to die.

With eyes full of bloodlust he suppressed his despair, summoning the courage he spoke…

"Do you not fear karma? What would killing us all gain you? Millions of innocents died at your hands. Is this Asura Spirit really worth our death?" with intense rage he howled out all his pain.

"May you die a dog's death!" Li Kai said already ready for whatever outcome that may come his way, he knew that escaping was all but a dream now.

"If only dreams were real?" Li Kai thought as he sighed, resigning himself to fate.

The Immortal Emperor insulted by Li Kai became livid, an uncontrollable anger erupted, obilirating Li Kai on the spot.

Li Kai Died!

"Humph! A mere ant dares to curse me? If not for the command of the sovereign I would have tortured your soul to a state worse than death"

"You got off too lightly… tsk" the Immortal Emperor yelled as his anger refused to lessen.

"Gu Tai curb your anger… the space is already collapsing and we have long overstayed our welcome… It's high time we returned and completed the assignment given to us by the sovereign'' Emperor An Wo said.

All five of them all simultaneously agreed as they turned around to tear the void and left.

Little did they know that Li Kai survived, the only survivor of the world of forsaken saints even if it was an insignificant speck of his soul left, he had not truly died but his soul was severely damaged.

"Thank heavens that I survived, it sure was a good thing to anger those beings… I wonder what their realm was?" Li Kai thought as he drifted off the endless space.

"The wouldn't even have allowed me to survive… Haha the really underestimated my soul resilience (sigh) but still I would die anyways my soul won't last much longer"

"I really wonder what this Asura Spirit is? Whatever, not like I care… But should I survive this I would definitely seek you out in vengeance for the forsaken saints World. Gu Tai, Feng and An Wei your names shall be carved into the depths of my soul as long as I live" Li Kai swore completely oblivious to his surroundings.

Crack!

Boom! Boom!! Boom!!!

The space crumbled completely, completely sucking the space, asteroids and sea of corpses around the world of forsaken saints into the vast and endless cosmos filled with chaotic energy.

Of course Xi Tian speck of soul wasn't an exception, slowly but surely the space closed up but nothing remained but endless pitch blackness.

In the cosmos,

Li Kai's soul was already at its wits end, suffering from the torments of chaotic energy,  he had lost complete sense of time; he could not say for sure how long he had remained in this state.

A month,  year, four years, ten years, or even a thousand years but one thing was for certain, even his resilient soul could not keep up coupled with his injured soul, he was truly at his wit's end.

It was then, he happened to bump into something… "Wait I am a soul, I should be able to pass through things for this to happen mean one thing I have also come across a soul in this cosmos… heavens is truly shining upon me"

Li Kai was ecstatic, not only would this mean he gets to recover should he consume the soul in front of him, but he might as well last longer and possibly find a world with energy and possess a being there and gradually recover his strength.

It is because he was a saint Sage that he knew all this so technically not all hope was lost, a fire of desire was immediately lit this meant he could survive!

But just as he was about to proceed to consuming the entity in front of him which he assumed was a soul.

A gentle and rather queer energy slowly invaded his soul, he felt helplessness at the thought that he couldn't expel such energy, horror filled his heart in dread as he thought he would be consumed in the end.

"Just where did I go wrong, he thought?" Li Kai was done, the fire of hope and desire died as soon as it was lit.

Just then 

A faint voice week yet contained mysteries beyond laws said…

"At long last I have found a host, my soul is nearly at the end of its rope. I will use this soul to recover to my peak and those bastards that did this to me will know true fear!"

"For you to survive in this chàotic cosmos for this long despite your damaged soul… You are peculiar, I have decided!"

"I hereby Grant you the system, recover quickly so that I might as well regain my peak" the soft voice spoke, it had to depend on this total stranger.

Just when Li Kai thought it was all over, his soul rapidly began to recover at a speed visible to the naked eye in a blink, he was fully healed in soul.

Li Kai could vaguely understand what the mysterious entity said, as the both communicate via the soul abet for a brief moment.

Before Li Kai could comprehend what was happening, something flew into his soul fusing with him although it felt temporary, he couldn't detect what exactly fused to him and before he could understand what was happening a bright light envelopes him and he vanishes from the endless cosmos.

It happens all too fast, but one thing was certain, Li Kai had survived his ordeal.

Li Kai had Transmigrated!
