Lady Luciana visited the Windsors' grand estate, where Lady Emily greeted her warmly. As they sat in the elegant parlor, Lady Emily introduced Lady Luciana to her companion, Elinda. Lady Luciana expressed gratitude for the marriage proposal between their children but seemed hesitant.
"I value our friendship, Lady Emily, and I appreciate your son's interest in my daughter. However, I fear they may not be the best match," Lady Luciana said politely, her brow furrowed with concern.

"Is it because of Daemon's previous marriage? I assure you; he will treat your daughter with kindness and respect." But Lady Luciana's true intention was to cancel the proposed marriage, she didn't want her daughter to be married to a Windsor. She asked about Eleanor, Daemon's former wife.
"Where do you think she is now? What if she returns?" Lady Emily chuckled dismissively.
