~Author's POV~
A young teen would always wish and want a lot of things, that saying also referred to this teen girl named Stãrr. You may be thinking " why the double r?"That was how her parents loved it.
Stãrr was a wonderful kid right from small, she was selfless, determined, and hardworking . She was cool and friendly and everyone loved her and she loved her life also. Her parents were strict but loving. She was homeschooled because of her parent fear of the unknown.
One faithful day, or should I say unfaithful day while Stãrr was at home in her room her parents came back home from a day at work like every other day and she came to welcome them home.
~stãrr's POV~
(Doing my assignments and surfing the internet on my phone I hear the gates open obviously my parents were back, I came out to greet them.)
"Hey mum"
" Hey dad"
" How was work? I really missed you guys. My teacher taught me a lot today and gave me a lot of assignments and I am nearly through with all."
( Not observing my parent not sparing me a glance)
" why aren't they answering me" I thought.
My father finally spoke.
" baby just go and pack your bags we are leaving."
"What? Leaving like how? Pack my bags, which bags?" To where?" I asked.
" yes we are leaving now and go pack the essentials you will be needing. We are going to California and you will love it there" Mr Brian replied.
I decided to confront my mum about what my dad said.
"Mum what does dad mean by we are leaving?"
My mum hesitated before replying me.
" sweetie do what your dad told you to do"said Mrs Brian.
I could sense fear in my mum's tone.
I just went upstairs to my room and went to pack my things.
I guess I was taking too much time because my dad called me to come down has fast as possible.
~Mrs Brian's POV~
(I guess my husband sensed that i was scared because he came to give me a hug)
"Honey I'm sorry, it is all my fault. I'm so sorry for bringing you and Stãrr into….."
"No honey it isn't your fault it is both our fault we should have retired when we knew we could not risk it, but I hope it will all be well."
"I hope so too".
