The duo of 2nd year students made their way through the alleyway that was supposed to have the peak grade 1 curse. Geto had already summoned 2 grade 2's to guard them in case of any surprise attacks.
"Everyone be on guard." He ordered.
Suguru wasn't one to boss anyone so they knew it was probably bad news if he was commanding anyone.
"Gyaa!" The creature yelled.
It had long black hair that resembled that of a woman coupled with a mask-like face that reminded someone of an empty mask. The face had 4 circular holes representing the eyes with a grinning smile etched onto its face.
It dawned a kimono that was comprised of light red with two dark green stripes on the arm section, the part between the green stripes were red with large white dots. It was taller than an average human and seemed to be going around 8 feet (taller than Geto).
"Is this the curse that has been causing trouble?" Shoko asked.
Unfortunately for them this cursed spirit was not capable of understanding human speech, if it could give them a summary of their ability there would be a chance of them surviving.
"It's special grade!" Shoko shouted full of fear.
This was the exact opposite of good news! They were told it was a peak grade 1 and not that it was a special grade, there was a long way between special grade and grade 1 that couldn't even be compared.
"Try wearing it down." Geto ordered his curses.
One resembled a crocodile while the other was turtle like. Both of them rushed towards the opposing special grade not with the intention of slowing it down but were trying to test it's ability.
Cursed Spirit Manipulation was powerful as it allowed the user to complete command the curse without any restriction to what the curse was capable and not capable of. It would completely obey the user's command.
The crocodile curse lunged at the special grade but a peculiar force that seemed not to exist decapitated the croc curse before it could even do anything. It then followed with the turtle curse by snapping its neck.
"Damn, they were grade 2 but they didn't even get close to it!" Geto cursed.
Where the hell was the special grade when they're actually supposed to be around?!
Gojo didn't hesitate for a moment before removing his glasses then tucking them into his trouser pockets.
"Phase, Twilight, Eyes of wisdom [Cursed Technique Amplification: Blue]."
A giant orb of the color blue materialized, it seemed to be a vacuum that targeted things that were firmly held down and they seemingly entered it, it seemed to be an irregular void that wasn't meant to be there and as a result seemed to cause the universe to rectify this void by filling it.
It uprooted the tarred rocks drawing them into the lapse and the young man sent it hurling at the cursed spirit.
Surprisingly the curse jumped into the air before the orb of blue could reach it.
But the snow-white haired teen controlled the ball of blue trying to make sure it hit his target.
"Phase, Twilight, Eyes of Wisdom [Cursed Technique Amplification: Blue]."
He commanded again. A second orb materialized as it went straight for the mask-faced curse.
[Maximum Output!] Gojo commanded.
Suddenly the weight in the area shifted as the curse seemingly dropped lifeless to the ground. The two orbs of energy rushed towards the cursed spirit as it fell like a rag doll to the ground.
In almost an instant it lifted itself from the ground getting upright. It raised its left hand up to block one of the orbs of blue, but it only slowed it down for half a second before coming in contact with it.
The orbs exploded into particles of fine dust destroying everything that was once there… except the cursed spirit, it dropped like an inanimate object onto the cold pavement.
There was something different about using two amplification blues at maximum output that really drains a man's energy that probably had something to do with the fact that launching four balls of lapse cursed energy that was actually a variation of a technique.
It drained Gojo's energy as one could clearly see that he flopped pathetically onto the floor weak and tired.
"Shoko get over here and heal him!" Geto shouted.
Once again there was always something bad happening when Geto was shouting.
The curse managed to get upright, it floated in the air before getting into a standing position on the floor. This showed that the battle wasn't over, but it was just beginning.
"Focus on healing Satoru, I'm going to see if I can buy us some time." Geto shouted as he ran towards the direction of the cursed spirit.
He summoned a familiar purple looking cursed spirit before yanking a weapon it was slowly bringing out.
It was a standard cursed weapon that would go about 100,000 yen in the market. But, Geto wasn't planning on letting anything go to waste against a battle against a special grade… everything mattered.
[Rainbow Dragon]
The cry rang out in the air as he sent out his most powerful curse in his arsenal, a grade 1! He rushed towards the curse with his rainbow dragon at his back as he imbued the curse into the weapon before striking down on the curse.
Or he tried to.
"Infinity!" Geto muttered in shock.
How would a cursed spirit have one of the ace variations of the special inherent technique of the Gojo clan?!
He jumped backwards to quickly formulate a rough plan on how to deal with this threat while the rainbow dragon rushed forward to deliver a powerful claw with all of its weight behind it.
SSsshhhSSShhhhhhHHHHH
The sound of glass breaking resounded as a powerful right claw came crashing on the special grade, it sustained a wound on its left chest while tearing the kimono to reveal that this wasn't a curse with no physical body.
Geto quickly thought about the explanation his best friend had given him on the variation of his cursed technique:
"Infinity is one of the variations of my limitless technique, in short it means that however you try you will never be able to hit me as you get slower the more close you get to me." Gojo explained in the way someone dumb would understand.
"Give me a better explanation." Geto said.
He could tell the explanation Satoru had given him was more or less run up the mill.
"Fine you asked for it."
"Infinity is a variation of the limitless cursed technique only inherent in the Gojo clan, based on the way it works you would think that it stops time but it doesn't. This is just a misconception as the real ability is the power to slow down.
If you try to hit me, you or the object you used instead hit the infinity between me and you. It is a convergence of the infinite series and you'll never guess this part… it comes right out of the paradox of Achilles and the tortoise.
Think of it in a similar way Achilles will never be able to catch the tortoise due to the potential, infinite amount of finite spaces separating me and you or how the real number one will never touch the real number two due to the infinite amount of fractions that separate them. You will never be able to touch me due to the infinity between us."
He explained in a contradictory way.
"This is just the explanation you got when you got your cursed technique." Geto said knowingly.
"You got me." Gojo smiled.
…
"This isn't infinity, its telekinesis!" Geto shouted.
He rushed again with renewed vigor as he jumped into the air but only to land onto the back of the rainbow dragon.
As long as there was a split-second pause in the curse's technique he would be able to land a good strike in on this special grade.
Geto summoned a black cursed spirit, since it was connected to him it would already know what he was planning. At the opening created by rainbow dragon this curse would activate its ability to manipulate gravity and increase it by several folds so that he would get a clean strike in.
"Gyaah!" The curse yelled.
All the earlier damage from blue at maximum output was gone and the cursed spirit had healed itself with cursed energy!
"Hey, miss me?"
A familiar voice said…
A/N: Welcome to cliffhanger station… Do you like the chapter, well give me ideas.
No matter what anyone says Toji is worth at least 19 Sukuna fingers… And current Gojo in this book is stronger than Jogo.
Chapter 13 is going to be insane.
Like literally!
Until then, bye…
