"Do we really have to?" He grumbled as he followed the woman who apparently is his maternal grandmother, Joan Ashborn.

"Why? Are you afraid? Then that's disappointing," Joan sneered.

'This old lady is getting annoying,' he thought.

This is why he's not fond of hanging out with old people, because they tend to be unpredictable.

They have a twisted concept of humor and family.

Like now, How is it normal to challenge your grandson into a spar on your first day of meeting him.

"Really. I won't hold back," he mumbled to himself.

"Sure, I would prefer you not holding back because I wouldn't. I can't tolerate weaklings with my blood flowing in theirs," she sharply said.

'Is that suppose to be an insult or provocation?!'

He looked at his mom, trying to get some help from her but she only shook her head as if to say 'I can't do anything.'

"Why is she like this mom?" He sent a mind transmission.
