After Ardiel had subdued the armor with a method Zahir couldn't even begin to guess, it was Reno's turn to try.

"Ahmm, shall we test the armor somewhere?" Zahir asked, trying to shift Ardiel's attention with a little hesitation.

Ardiel shook his head, pointing toward Reno. "Nah, after he gets his."

Zahir furrowed his brows. "You're sure he will?"

"Just watch," Ardiel replied with a confident smirk.

Reno approached the armor, his steps slow and cautious. He could feel it—an odd hostility radiating from the armor, as if it was gauging him.

Was this the same for all sentient armors?

His gaze wandered over the crystalline surface, noting its sharp edges and jagged spikes.

Unlike Ardiel's armor, which looked like something worn by a Dragon Lord, this one seemed like it was carved from an ancient glacier.

Its icy spikes resembled frozen blades, sharp enough to cut at the lightest touch.
