While the Murim in Qinlan waged a fierce war against the Demonic Sect and their demon allies, the Kingdom of Nakwando faced a different challenge of its own.
As an independent state within Qinlan, Nakwando was obligated to offer aid to the Empire in times like this. And so, they were seeking the best reinforcements.
King Yoo Seung-Hwan had sent his finest to track down the legendary Four Sacred Guardian Spirits—beings that once watched over Qinlan in ancient times.
"There's been news, Your Majesty," one of the knights said, bowing slightly. "It concerns the Vermillion Bird—or, at least, its potential contractor. Reports suggest it's been spotted, possibly residing on one of the islands south of Eldenfren."
King Seung-Hwan leaned forward, eyes narrowing with interest. "And what of the Azure Dragon?"
