After coming out of the space once again, Su Shu finally managed to squeeze in a nap before dawn.
Upon waking, she first heated some water for Xiao'ai's bath, and after getting her all nice and clean, she took her down to the Ge Family's old house—only to run into Tang Zelin, who was just coming up the mountain to find her.
"You... How did you come up here?"
The first thing she said upon seeing him amused Tang Zelin.
He had come up the mountain without a single soldier; what else could he be there for if not to see her?
The two stood at the main entrance of the Ge Family home, just looking at each other—you in surprise, me with a smile.
Fu Shiyin took Xiao'ai's hand, and upon seeing the two of them standing at her doorstep gazing into each other's eyes, she couldn't help but let out a chuckle.
"Are you two going to come inside to chat, or head back up? Is the air better at the doorway?"
