Shen Han let go, stood still, and looked down at her. Having not seen her for a long time, the girl's complexion wasn't as haggard as he had imagined, which alleviated some of his worries.
"How did you get here? And, how could you talk nonsense with others!"
Shen Han squinted, "What did I say."
"You said!" Su Shu took a deep breath and held back the rest of her words, not wanting to argue with him on this issue.
"Fine, you've seen me now. I'm quite alright, healthy and disaster-free. You can rest assured now. If there's nothing else, I'll take my leave first, thank you Mr. Shen for your concern." With that, Su Shu turned around to leave.
Shen Han couldn't let her go, grabbing her arm with some force, causing Su Shu to involuntarily cry out, "Ah."
He loosened his grip but didn't let go of her.
"Su Shu, wait a moment."
Su Shu stopped, looked down at her toes, unsure whether to leave or stay, and unwilling to respond. Should she just remain silent?
