"I have already informed Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, you should go and find him!"
Sakyamuni Tathagata spoke these words after his lips parted ever so slightly.
"Amitabha, thank you, World Honored One!"
Sunlight Bodhisattva and Moonlight Bodhisattva respectfully bowed and then left the Great Thunderclap Monastery, heading to the temple where Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva resided.
They took to their lotus platforms and headed for Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva's abode.
Soon, they caught sight of the place where Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva was.
Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva stood at the entrance of the temple, seemingly having waited for their arrival for quite some time.
"Amitabha, I have been awaiting the two of you for a long time!"
In Buddhism, Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva commanded an extraordinary position, being the left and right attendant of Amitabha Buddha. Although not having reached Buddhahood, he was considered first in luminous wisdom.
