The old macaque was somewhat puzzled. When they, these monkeys, were so oppressed by the Demon King, now that their Great King had finally returned, couldn't he take revenge for them?
Could it be that the Great King was no match for the Demon King?
"It's just that I do not wish to act rashly!"
Wukong shook his head.
He could sense that the Demon King inside that cave dwelling wasn't very strong; dealing with him would be an easy task if he so desired.
However, those little demons already knew that their Great King intended to confront him, and more than that, there was a strong presence nearby.
This was clearly problematic, and Wukong naturally wouldn't proceed in such a manner.
He was not afraid of this Demon King, but there was clearly some reason behind his actions, a reason he could not simply kill the Demon King.
Dispatching a Golden Immortal Demon King was not difficult; the issue lay in the reasons behind it.
That was where the true problem lay.
