Everyone in the ward turned at the sound and saw an elderly but spirited foreign doctor enter with his assistant.
"Oh, Mr. Edward, you have finally arrived, perhaps you are the only one in the world who can save my husband!" Mrs. Nicolas exclaimed with overwhelming joy as she approached them.
The arrival of Edward brought her a glimmer of hope, and her elation was only natural!
"Oh, esteemed madam, please don't panic, let me see your husband," Dr. Edward reassured her, then asked, "Respected madam, how long has your husband been in a coma?"
"Oh, he has been in a coma for a year and a half!" Mrs. Nicolas answered.
"That is truly regrettable," Edward sighed.
Then, Mrs. Nicolas led Edward to the bedside, her face pleading, "Mr. Edward, you are the world's most renowned neurologist, I beg you to save my husband, Nicolas."
Looking at Nicolas, who resembled a stick of kindling, Edward said sympathetically to her, "Respected madam, rest assured, I will do my utmost to treat him!"
