The movie was a poorly made domestic film with little to offer, but it did feature plenty of intimate scenes; it hadn't even been twenty minutes, and there had already been several long kissing shots.
The audience for this film was sparse, fewer than twenty people scattered throughout the entire theater, mostly in couples. Perhaps stimulated by the plot of the movie, these pairs were now embracing and making out, ignoring the rest of the movie except for the scenes that seemed to encourage their affection.
Listereing to the murmur of intimate sounds filling the theater, Miao Qingqing's face alternated between pale and flushed, a truly awkward situation.
"Qingqing, you really know how to pick, coming to see this kind of movie with me. Not only do we get to watch an exciting film, but there's also so much live action—it's like two movies for the price of one ticket. It's really a great deal," Song Xiaodong whispered into Miao Qingqing's ear.
