Chapter 48: The Water 7

---

Five days had passed since Dorry and Brogy joined the Silverhair Pirates. The crew had spent their time training and preparing for their next adventure. One morning, Arthur received a system notification.

"Congratulations to the host for recruiting the eighth, ninth, and tenth crewmembers into your pirate group. You are rewarded with a free upgrade of the Silverhair pirate ship to a larger size, a Devil Fruit, and a system upgrade."

Arthur checked the details of the new Devil Fruit: [Hito Hito no Mi - Model: Agni], a mythical zoan fruit that grants the powers of Agni, the Hindu god of fire.

Arthur smiled at the notification. "This will come in handy," he thought, pondering who among his crew would benefit the most from this new power.

---

With the rewards in hand and their ship upgraded, the Silverhair Pirates set sail towards Water 7. The crew was excited about the prospect of meeting Tom, the legendary shipwright, and upgrading their ship even further.

As they approached Water 7, the crew marveled at the city's unique architecture. Buildings rose from the water, connected by canals and bridges bustling with activity.

--

Upon docking, they were greeted by Tom, the master shipwright, and a young apprentice, Iceburg. Tom was an imposing figure, with strong, capable hands and a warm smile. Iceburg, still a child, watched attentively, eager to learn from his mentor.

"Welcome to Water 7! I'm Tom, and this is my apprentice, Iceburg. How can we help you?"

Arthur stepped forward. "We need to upgrade our ship to accommodate our growing crew, including two giants. We also want the best ship possible for navigating the Grand Line."

Tom nodded, listening carefully. "We can definitely help with that. Follow me to the shipyard, and we'll discuss the details."

---

Arthur and his crew sat down with Tom and Iceburg to design their new ship. They discussed everything from size and strength to special features.

"We need a ship that can accommodate our giants," Arthur explained. "It should have reinforced decks and larger living quarters."

Tom sketched some ideas. "We'll use Adam Wood for the main structure. It's incredibly strong and durable. We can also add retractable masts for speed and maneuverability."

Lisa added, "We need advanced navigation equipment and a powerful engine for emergencies."

Tom's eyes lit up. "I've got just the thing! We'll install a steam-powered engine and a state-of-the-art helm for precise control."

---

Meanwhile, on an unknown island, a man read the newspaper with a smile. The headline read, "The Rise of the Silverhair Pirates in This Era" by Morgan. This mysterious figure had been hinted at in previous chapters, and now he seemed to take a particular interest in the Silverhair Pirates.

---

As the crew explored Water 7, Arthur noticed a man in uniform following him silently. He quickly realized it was a CP0 agent, sent by the World Government to monitor Tom due to his knowledge of the ancient weapon Pluton. The agent had recognized Arthur and received orders to eliminate him.

Arthur confronted the CP0 agent in a secluded area. "Why are you following me?" he demanded.

The agent smirked. "Orders from above. Your rise has been noted, and now you must be eliminated."

A fierce battle ensued. The CP0 agent used various Rokushiki techniques, but Arthur, with his advanced Armament Haki and swordsmanship, managed to overpower and kill the agent.

---

Arthur returned to his crew, not mentioning the encounter to avoid worrying them. The ship upgrades were progressing well, thanks to Tom and Iceburg's expertise.

With their new ship complete, the crew set sail for their next adventure. The Silverhair Pirates were ready for whatever the Grand Line had in store for them.

---

As the Silverhair Pirates sailed away from Water 7, their new ship gleamed in the sunlight. The crew felt more powerful and united than ever before.

Arthur stood at the helm, pondering their next destination. "We've got a long journey ahead. Stay sharp and be ready for anything."

Lisa plotted their course while the rest of the crew engaged in various activities. Alex and Hiroshi sparred, honing their combat skills. Dr. Megulus continued his research, and Rus, in his Garuda form, kept a watchful eye on the horizon.

One day, as the crew sailed through calm waters, they noticed a ship approaching in the distance. It flew the flag of the World Government. Arthur's eyes narrowed. "Prepare for battle," he ordered.

The ship drew closer, and they saw it was led by a Vice Admiral they had not encountered before. The Vice Admiral shouted through a loudspeaker, "Surrender now, Silverhair Pirates, or face the consequences!"

Arthur drew his sword. "We'll never surrender. Prepare to defend the ship!"

Cannons roared as the two ships exchanged fire. The Silverhair Pirates expertly maneuvered their ship, avoiding most of the incoming attacks. Rio, from his sniper position, picked off key targets, disabling the enemy's weapons.

Brogy and Dorry leaped onto the enemy ship, their immense size and strength causing chaos. "These giants are unstoppable!" a Navy soldier screamed as Brogy swung his massive axe.

Dorry, with a fierce battle cry, shattered the hull of another ship, sending it sinking into the sea. "We'll teach them not to mess with us!" he roared.

---

Lisa and Surv fought side by side, using their Haki-infused daggers to take down Navy soldiers. "We've trained for this," Surv said, her eyes fierce.

Dr. Megulus, now proficient in both Armament and Observation Haki, used his medical knowledge to heal his allies and fight off enemies with deadly precision.

Rus, in his Garuda form, soared above the battlefield, using wind manipulation to create powerful gusts that knocked enemies off their feet. "You can't escape the storm!" he shouted.

---

Arthur vs. the Vice Admiral

Arthur faced off against the Vice Admiral in a fierce duel. The Vice Admiral, wielding a large, electrified mace, charged at Arthur with tremendous speed.

Arthur used his advanced Observation Haki to predict the Vice Admiral's movements and countered with precise sword strikes. The clash of Haki and weaponry sent shockwaves through the battlefield.

"You've got power, but you lack control," Arthur taunted, parrying a heavy blow.

The Vice Admiral gritted his teeth. "I'll show you control!" He swung his mace with all his might, but Arthur deftly dodged and delivered a powerful counterattack, sending the Vice Admiral crashing to the deck.

The battle raged on, but the Silverhair Pirates' superior skills and teamwork eventually overwhelmed the Navy forces. The remaining soldiers retreated, and the crew celebrated their hard-fought victory.

Arthur gathered his crew. "We've come a long way, but this is just the beginning. We need to stay strong and united."

The crew nodded in agreement, their resolve stronger than ever. They set sail once more, ready to face the challenges ahead.

With the battle behind them, the Silverhair Pirates sailed towards the New World. The crew was excited about the unknown adventures and challenges that awaited them.

Arthur stood at the helm, his eyes scanning the horizon. "The New World is a dangerous place, but it's also where we'll find our greatest opportunities."

Lisa plotted their course, her eyes sparkling with determination. "We're ready for whatever comes our way."

The crew trained diligently, honing their skills and preparing for the battles to come. Arthur couldn't help but feel a sense of pride as he watched his crew grow stronger and more united.
