Chapter 42: Arrival in Alabasta
---
The Silverhair Pirates finally set sail towards Alabasta. The crew was eager for a change of pace and the opportunity to explore a new land. The journey was smooth, with the crew enjoying the calm seas and beautiful weather.
Arthur stood at the helm, watching as the sandy shores of Alabasta came into view. "We've arrived," he announced. "Let's make the most of our time here and gather any information we can."
Lisa, the navigator, guided the ship into a hidden cove. "This spot should keep us out of sight. We can explore the city without attracting too much attention."

Alabasta
Once they docked, the crew decided to explore the city separately. They all had different interests and tasks to accomplish.
Lisa and Surv's POV
Lisa and Surv decided to indulge in some much-needed relaxation and fun. They wandered through the bustling markets, admiring the vibrant fabrics and exotic goods.
"This fabric is beautiful," Lisa said, holding up a piece of brightly colored cloth. "It would make a great new outfit."
Surv nodded enthusiastically. "Let's buy it! We deserve to treat ourselves after all the hard work."
They spent the afternoon trying on clothes, buying accessories, and enjoying the lively atmosphere of the market. The cheerful banter and laughter between them attracted the attention of many local vendors, who were happy to see such enthusiastic customers.
Alex and Hiroshi POV
Alex and Hiroshi made their way to a nearby gambling den. The place was filled with the sound of clinking coins, shuffling cards, and the excited chatter of gamblers.
Alex scanned the room, his Observation Haki allowing him to pick up on subtle details and tells from the other gamblers. "This is going to be fun," he said with a grin.
Hiroshi nodded, equally excited. "Let's win some berry."
They sat at a table and started playing, using their keen senses to predict the outcomes and outsmart their opponents. It wasn't long before they started winning big, their pile of coins growing steadily.
One of the gamblers, a burly man with a scar across his face, eyed them suspiciously. "You two are awfully lucky."
Alex shrugged, feigning innocence. "Just a good day, I guess."
Hiroshi added, "Maybe you should take some pointers from us."
The gambler grumbled but continued playing, while Alex and Hiroshi kept winning, enjoying the thrill of the game.
Dr. Megulus's POV
Dr. Megulus set up a small stall in a busy part of the market, offering free medical services to the locals. He hung a sign that read, "Free Medical Check-ups."
People were initially skeptical, but as word spread about the free services, a line began to form. Dr. Megulus worked diligently, treating minor injuries, diagnosing illnesses, and providing advice on maintaining good health.
A middle-aged woman approached him with her young son, who had a nasty cut on his arm. "Thank you for offering this service," she said gratefully. "We don't have much money, and it's hard to get proper medical care."
Dr. Megulus smiled warmly. "It's my pleasure. Let's take a look at that cut."
As he treated the boy, more and more people came to the stall, grateful for the help. The doctor's kindness and skill earned him the admiration and respect of the locals.
Rus's POV
Rus, curious about the local cuisine, wandered through the food stalls, sampling various dishes. The sights and smells of the market were overwhelming, and he was eager to taste everything.
He stopped at a stall selling grilled meats and vegetables. "I'll have some of that," he said, pointing to a skewer of juicy, seasoned meat.
The vendor handed him the skewer with a smile. "Enjoy! It's a local specialty."
Rus took a bite and his eyes lit up. "This is amazing! I've never tasted anything like it."
He continued his culinary adventure, trying different foods and chatting with the vendors. His friendly demeanor and genuine appreciation for the food made him popular among the locals.
Hiroshi POV
Hiroshi found a nearby tavern and decided to enjoy a drink. The place was dimly lit and filled with the scent of ale and food. He took a seat at the bar and ordered a glass of wine.
As he sipped his drink, he listened to the conversations around him, hoping to pick up any useful information about the situation in Alabasta. The locals spoke in hushed tones about the ongoing rebellion and the mysterious organization behind it.
"This place is full of secrets," Hiroshi thought to himself. "We need to be careful."
Arthur's POV
Arthur wandered through the streets, taking in the sights and sounds of Alabasta. The city was vibrant and lively, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. As he turned a corner, he saw a young boy, about 16 years old, trying to steal some food from a stall.
The stall owner caught the boy by the arm, yelling, "Thief! Someone help!"
Arthur stepped forward, his presence commanding attention. "What's going on here?"
The stall owner looked at Arthur, then at the boy. "This brat was trying to steal food from me!"
The boy, looking scared and hungry, tried to pull away. "I'm sorry! I just... I haven't eaten in days."
Arthur knelt down to the boy's level. "What's your name?"
"Kamsu V. Shiro," the boy replied, his voice trembling. "I'm just trying to survive."
Arthur's heart went out to the boy. "Why don't you come with me? I promise you'll never go hungry again."
Kamsu looked up at Arthur, his eyes wide with hope. "Really? You'd do that for me?"
Arthur nodded. "Join us, and we'll take care of you. You'll be part of our crew."
Just as Kamsu was about to respond, a Navy soldier spotted Arthur and recognized him. The soldier's eyes widened in shock. "That's Sergio D. Arthur! He's got a 660 million berry bounty!"
The soldier quickly took out his phone snail and contacted the Navy G12 base in Alabasta. "This is urgent! I've spotted Sergio D. Arthur in Alabasta!"

Navy Base G12 Station
At the Navy G12 base, the Colonel in charge received the message and immediately panicked. He knew that handling a pirate with such a high bounty was beyond his capabilities.
The Colonel picked up another phone snail and contacted Navy Headquarters. "This is Colonel Henson from G12 base. We have a situation. Sergio D. Arthur, the Silverhair Pirate with a 660 million berry bounty, has been spotted in Alabasta."
The phone snail crackled to life as Fleet Admiral Sengoku's voice came through. "What? Sergio D. Arthur in Alabasta? This is serious. We need to act quickly."
---
Navy Headquarters, Marinefort
Sengoku immediately contacted Admiral Kanji, who was on a mission near Alabasta. "Kanji, we have a situation. Sergio D. Arthur has been spotted in Alabasta. You need to intercept him immediately."
Admiral Kanji's voice was calm but determined. "Understood, Fleet Admiral. I'll head to Alabasta right away."
--------------------
Back in Alabasta, Arthur sensed the tension rising. He knew that their presence had been detected and that they were in for a fight. He turned to Kamsu and said, "Stay close. Things are about to get dangerous."
As the Silverhair Pirates regrouped and prepared for the inevitable confrontation, the tension in the air was palpable. They knew that Admiral Kanji was on his way, and they would need to be at their best to face him.
The crew members, now aware of the impending danger, looked at each other with resolve. They had faced many challenges before, but this would be one of their toughest battles yet.
