The next morning, Jiang Mingyuan and Lu Zheng arrived at Lin Xia's place together.
Lin Xia and Lin Qiu had just finished making breakfast and had set it out on the table.
Seeing both of them enter with poor complexions and red veins in their eyes, Lin Xia was curious about what they did last night, "What time did you guys go to bed?"
After all, they hadn't come home particularly late.
Jiang Mingyuan scratched his face, "Midnight!"
Lin Xia looked at them concernedly, "Why so late? Did you throw up again?" As soon as she mentioned this, her eyes widened as if she had more to say.
Jiang Mingyuan quickly shook his head, "No throwing up!" He knew full well how fierce Lin Xia could be when she was angry and lecturing someone.
"We were chatting!" Lu Zheng said and then went over to the sofa to take out toiletries to brush his teeth.
Lin Xia expressed doubt, wondering what they could possibly have to chat about.
