Xi Yan walked out, and Shen Chun wiped his nose with his hand. In his eyes, Xi Yan was just throwing a tantrum because of a mental lapse.
He hurried to catch up, "Why are you upset all of a sudden?"
Ignoring him, Xi Yan continued to walk out of the hospital lobby and down the steps. Shen Chun said, "Wait here for me, I'll drive you home."
"No need, I can hail a cab," Xi Yan said, although she was actually just upset for a minute. "Officer Shen, thank you for taking so much time out of your day for me. You should head home now. I can get a taxi quickly."
"Are you sure you don't need a ride?" Shen Chun was still worried about her, "Are you angry?"
"I'm not angry. Getting angry makes you old and ugly, and I don't want to regret it. I just don't want to bother you anymore. Call me when you've taken care of the car issue." Xi Yan gestured making a phone call.
"Then let me hail a cab for you." Shen Chun quickly walked to the hospital entrance and flagged down a cab for her.
