"Xiaoqin, could you clean up the study upstairs? Make sure it's clean," Huo Jingtang interrupted his mother, speaking to Qin Yucen. "Hurry up, I will check later."
Without saying much, Qin Yucen moved towards the stairs until she disappeared upstairs.
Huo Jingtang met Bai Mulan's gaze and felt something was off. "Mom, do you not recognize me anymore?"
"Didn't you say you were in a hurry to get to work and had no time? And now you have time to inspect?" Bai Mulan raised an eyebrow.
"She's new here, I'm afraid she won't clean well, so I'm just scaring her a bit so she'll be more careful," Huo Jingtang adjusted his sitting posture and changed the subject. "Mom, where were you in your conversation just now?"
