Huo Jingtang was deep in thought when there was a knock at the office door. He directed his gaze to the door. "Come in."
Someone pushed the door open from the outside, and a crisp sound of high heels on the floor followed, not too grating to the ears, yet rhythmic. Huo Jingtang saw Xi Yan enter with documents in her arms, her figure graceful and her steps brisk. As she approached his desk, Huo Jingtang pressed the speakerphone button on his phone without a change in expression and set it on the table.
"What is it?" Huo Jingtang's gaze fell lightly on the phone while his long fingers rested on the desk.
"President, here are the documents you wanted to revise; they're ready. And this one is the report on the hotel from Sanya in Hainan, including partners and others. Please review them." Xi Yan reported each item, "Some data are still being consolidated for your review later."
"Mhm." Huo Jingtang nodded nonchalantly. "Xi Yan, you can get off work now."
