With the backpack slung over her shoulder and another containing Cotton Candy in her hand, Chu Nanxi opened the door, glanced at the firmly shut bedroom of Li Hannian next door, and hurried downstairs.
The butler had been waiting and, seeing her come down, immediately greeted her with a smile.
"Miss, breakfast is ready."
"I'm in a rush, no time to eat," Chu Nanxi halted in her tracks and bowed slightly towards him and the maid standing not far away, "You've been troubled these past few days, I must go now, goodbye!"
The maid and butler didn't realize that Chu Nanxi's words were a farewell.
"I'll pack your breakfast for you!" the maid said, smiling as she headed for the kitchen.
The butler also smiled, "Yes, I've even asked the driver to get ready, you can eat in the car later."
"No need!"
