Looking at the madam's current state, not even ten oxen could pull her back, so why bother stepping forward and asking for a scolding? She'll just listen for a bit and then naturally go back to rest on her own."

When George saw Song Zhen, his gloomy little face instantly lit up with a smile, "Uncle Song Zhen! Uncle!"
Song Zhen smiled warmly, walked up, and placed the tray on the bedside table.
The aroma of food wafted over.
For George, who hadn't eaten in three days, it was unbearably mouthwatering.
