When Ou Lan arrived at her father Ou Chenghai's new home at Blue City Residence, she saw her father silently tidying up the mess in the small shop. Many of the brand-new tables and chairs had been smashed, and broken dishes and cups littered the floor.
The shop was supposed to open for business in two days.
Without even thinking about it, she knew this was Wen Nanping's handiwork.
Ou Lan, infuriated, stepped forward, "Dad, did Wen Nanping come to cause trouble again?"
Clearly not expecting Ou Lan's sudden return, Ou Chenghai was taken aback. Then he tried to cover it up, "It's not your mother, I accidentally damaged them."
Ou Lan laughed, "You cherish your own shop so much, and as your daughter, how could I not know that? Even if you accidentally broke some dishes, how could it be possible for you to damage so many tables and chairs?"
Ou Chenghai had no response and merely sighed, continuing to sweep the floor in silence.
