Fan Shaoming intently scrutinized her.
Su Xiaoyue and he locked gazes.
If she didn't meet his gaze, he'd notice her nervousness and her deliberate concealment.
"Xiaoyue," Fan Shaoming's dark pupils twinkled as he tenderly called out to Su Xiaoyue. After she responded with a hum, he laughed, asking her with a smile, "Do you still remember what agreement you signed with me?"
"I remember, of course, I remember, I always keep it in mind."
Su Xiaoyue answered quickly.
"Have you kept to it?"
"I have," she insisted, refusing to believe his eyes were that sharp. She faced him undaunted, and yet he was supposed to see through her deception.
Fan Shaoming's gaze deepened, his smile brightened. Although Su Xiaoyue had known him for a long time, this was the first time she saw him smile so radiantly. She couldn't help but indulge in his sunlight-like smile, sighing, "You should smile more. When you smile, you're even more handsome, more charming, warm like the sunshine."
