"Xia Ying, the thing I loathe most is being deceived. You've tried to pull a fast one, but that's usually my game, Jiang Yi. Today, you've managed to play me. You thought you could use me like a sitting duck, did you really think it would be that easy?"
Hearing the implication in his words, Xia Ying asked, "Mr. Jiang, are you contemplating ending our deal?"
Jiang Yi settled back into his seat. "Still thirsty, pour me another glass of water."
Xia Ying rose and filled his cup with warm water once again.
He took a sip of the warm water and complained with knitted brows, "Tasteless, it's hard to swallow. Add some sugar."
"If sugar is added, it will make you thirstier afterward," Xia Ying reminded him, but still added the sugar. After Jiang Yi happily drank the sugared water, he glanced at Xia Ying. "You're not going to beg me?" He was on the point of ending the transaction.
