Fan Mingyu had already closed his eyes, slowly sinking into dreamland.
Only after confirming he was asleep did Su Xiaoyue stop telling the story. She pulled the thin blanket over Mingyu and picked up the remote control to set the air conditioner to a comfortable room temperature of twenty-five degrees Celsius.
Having done all that, she stood up, turned around to leave, and suddenly noticed Fan Shaoming standing at the door watching her. She paused for a moment, then pursed her lips before walking towards Fan Shaoming.
"Mingyu is asleep,"
she said softly as she approached Fan Shaoming.
Fan Shaoming's gaze moved past her to the small figure on the bed, saw his son sleeping peacefully, and then turned to walk away.
After helping Fan Mingyu close the door, Su Xiaoyue followed him.
Fan Shaoming went straight to the rooftop.
Su Xiaoyue also followed him to the rooftop.
Realizing she was following him, Fan Shaoming asked her coldly, "Why are you following me?"
