Having come down from the Ferris wheel, Mu Lan's face remained flushed.
Huo Tingxiao had not let go of her hand the entire time and was still concerned about her comfort.
"Are you all right?"
"I'm fine."
Unnoticed, it turned to the afternoon, and the two left the amusement park. Huo Tingxiao drove while Mu Lan sat in the passenger seat, humming a tune.
On the road, they spotted a supermarket from afar and Mu Lan impulsively decided to go for a stroll.
Huo Tingxiao frowned.
"Are you sure?"
"Haven't you never been to a supermarket before?"
"I have."
But he didn't like it, he never enjoyed places too full of mundane bustle, having always been used to going his own way.
"With whom? Men or women?"
Mu Lan stared at him, wanting to dig out some secrets.
Apparently indifferent, Huo Tingxiao didn't even lift his eyelids while steering the car into the supermarket's underground parking.
"Hmph, never mind if you don't want to talk about it."
