She pinched my face, her features magnified before my eyes, "I told myself, I couldn't let you off." She tickled me with both her hands and feet.
I begged for mercy, but she wouldn't stop.
I finally caught my breath and grabbed her hand, "Fei, please let me go."
It seemed she was tired too, and lay on top of me, her bright eyes shining in the darkness as she looked at me, "That day, you were very upset."
I slowly sat up, pulling her into my arms. I brushed the sand off her hair, "Have you ever been hurt by someone?"
She was quiet.
"I don't want to talk about this," I said, "because I've forgotten about it. After I threw up, I forgot about it."
"The place where you threw up, later many little crabs climbed up," she said. "They cleaned it up very nicely."
We both laughed again.
We then realized we had wandered far from the hotel.
Suddenly, it started to rain.
