I had dinner in the cafeteria, bought some snacks, and then came back to continue working. The cafeteria had made eggplant for dinner, and I miscalculated, ate too much, and by the end, I dozed off in a daze.
When I woke up again, someone was nudging my arm to wake me.
I thought I was dreaming because Jiayang was in front of me.
I just stared at him, my head aching.
Jiayang took a handkerchief out of his pocket and wiped my mouth, "Were you pinched on the cheeks too much as a child? How can you still drool in your sleep now that you're grown up?"
Turns out it wasn't a dream, so there were many fun things that I couldn't do anymore.
I sighed and packed up my stuff.
There was still a little bit left to review; I'd have to take it home to finish.
"Working so hard?" he asked.
"No choice, too much homework. What time is it?"
"Ten o'clock."
"What about you? You're up late too?"
"Just finished drafting a document, saw your office lights on, so I came to check it out."
