Wen Wan sat at her desk, tilting her head as she eyed the freshly completed design on the table, twirling a pencil in her hand. Her eyebrows furrowed together, indicating her dissatisfaction.
The cellphone by the desk suddenly vibrated. Wen Wan picked it up without looking away, answered the call, and placed it to her ear, "Hello."
"I'm downstairs at your company, give me three minutes to come down," the voice on the phone made Wen Wan immediately sit upright. Before she could even respond, the line was disconnected.
Wen Wan threw the phone back on the desk and continued working. Why should she go down just because he said so? She decided not to!
The phone vibrated again, a text message came in: "If I don't see you in three minutes, I'll come up and get you myself!"
"Damn!" Wen Wan sat upright again, instinctively cursed, drawing surprised looks from her colleagues.
