"Really?" Wen Wan's heart ignited a flicker of hope again. But in an instant, it was extinguished by Mo Siluo's recent behavior. If he truly didn't mind, why would he treat her like this? Or maybe he just didn't like her enough, not to the extent where he could be indifferent for her sake.
Rong Zifeng curved his lips into a shallow smile, glanced at the paper bag, and then asked, "What's this? Did he give it to you?"
Wen Wan nodded, "Yes, actually, we've already broken up, I came to return his things."
Rong Zifeng was taken aback, "Broken up? Did he bring it up?"
"Sort of," Wen Wan said despondently, lowering her gaze. It had been so obvious; it must count as him initiating the breakup.
Rong Zifeng was genuinely startled, unable to understand what Mo Siluo was really up to.
"Are you sure he actually said to you that he wanted to break up?" Rong Zifeng asked again.
