"Oh..." The man's gaze briefly faltered before he remembered he was supposed to leave.
With no further hesitation, he turned around and slammed the door shut with a "bang".
Mu Yin's heart raced, but she finally exhaled in relief, hastily picking up the half-wet towel she had put down earlier and wiping herself off again.
However, as she reached for her clothes, she remembered that her nightgown had fallen into the water with her, now floating on the surface with the bubbles, picking it up would only yield a sodden mess, and her original clothes, tossed in the laundry basket on the floor, were thoroughly soaked from the splashing.
The irony was inexplicable.
Mu Yin looked around; besides the towel, there was nothing to wear, so she reluctantly walked to the door and bravely asked, "Could you pass me a set of clothes? My pajamas are soaked..."
Yet, she spoke for a long while with no response.
