When Chen Ziqian drove out of the underground parking lot, he happened to pass the main entrance of the building and immediately saw Suxin, who seemed uncertain whether to come in or leave, standing at the doorway. The heavy rain outside made him hesitate.
"Should I take her back with me?"
Thinking this, Chen Ziqian took out his phone, opened the keypad, and knew Suxin's number. He had inadvertently memorized it while looking at her resume earlier and, for some reason, it had stayed with him, clearly etched in his memory, a sign that his memory had improved significantly.
From a distance, Suxin stood at the entrance, hugging herself, looking very cold, and Chen Ziqian finally relented.
"I've never seen such a silly woman, going out without even bringing an umbrella," Chen Ziqian shook his head as his finger pressed down on the number and dialed it.
Suxin was waiting under the building, hesitating whether to dash across or not.
