The rising sun finally brought a sliver of light to the cave, and everything inside became clear.
The cave wasn't large, accommodating only about six people at most. It was surrounded by rocks that were incredibly damp, likely due to the lack of sunlight over the years. Deeper inside was a pitch-black area, invisible to the eye, probably just more rock walls.
"Ziqian, what should we do?" Suxin looked at him.
"What can we do? Wait for rescue! If Uncle Xu doesn't see us return tomorrow, he'll definitely guess something's happened to us. He'll inform my old man."
"Inform? How's he going to inform anyone? Aren't we out of signal in the mountains?"
"Silly, can't he walk somewhere else to make the call?"
Suxin felt faint! Only now did she remember how silly she had been! But now was not the time to think about these things.
"So, we're staying here until tomorrow?"
