Lin Yao approached Secretary Chen as soon as he came out and sized him up. Noticing that he was holding a stack of documents and hurrying outside, she immediately stopped him.
"Where is Xiangnan? Is he upstairs?" Lin Yao blocked his path and asked.
Secretary Chen, who was initially rushing outside, was suddenly halted. He frowned slightly upon seeing Lin Yao blocking him. After hearing her question, a hint of impatience flashed in his eyes, but he still politely responded, "President Zhuo had to meet representatives of a partner company, so he left the office early today." As he spoke, he prepared to leave; he had other tasks to arrange and inspect the venue for the celebration of the successful contract signing with H&L and really had no time to waste with Lin Yao.
"Where is he now?" Lin Yao continued blocking his way as he attempted to leave.
Secretary Chen, though he did not show it on his face, was becoming quite impatient with Lin Yao's persistent nagging.
