Bo's mother mechanically lifted her head and stared at Bo's high-ranking father across from her, engrossed in his newspaper. It took her a while to find her voice, "Husband..."
Every time Bo's mother called him husband, he would falter and start to tremble.
So his hand clutching the newspaper shivered slightly, and he said to Bo's mother, "Speak properly."
