Shang Hexing said nothing.
He silently opened the insulated box and scooped up a bowl of porridge to feed Wen Zhi, "It's not hot, the temperature is just right."
Wen Zhi pursed her lips and refused to open her mouth.
After a few seconds of standoff, Wen Zhi still stubbornly resisted, and Shang Hexing sighed lightly and explained, "I was worried about you, so I had no appetite. Now that you're awake, do you want me to keep worrying?"
Wen Zhi immediately shook her head.
Shang Hexing extended his hand holding the spoon forward, "You eat, then I'll eat."
Wen Zhi hesitated for two seconds but then obediently opened her mouth.
It was red date and pumpkin porridge, thick but not overly sweet and very nutritious.
Wen Zhi obediently finished the entire bowl of porridge, and after seeing the bottom, Shang Hexing asked if she wanted another half bowl, to which she shook her head, "I can't eat anymore, you eat."
Shang Hexing glanced at her.
