Chari had made a mistake, a dreadful one at that.
With his judgement corroded by anger he had accidentally gone too far. The move he used was something he had been working on for a long time but he was nowhere near that level, he needed years to make the technique even usable.
Yet his rage had pushed him to using a technique he was ill equipped to handle, of course it fell on its face. Now that he had gone too far and was running low on psyia, the anger had left him to fend for himself.
But…
The Tainted beast was really something else, to think it would charge into the burning flames just to get to him in time. It probably didn't know that all it had to do was wait and watch.
Its efforts were rather fruitful, currently all around, Chari was surrounded by darkness. A darkness so thick that his eyes could not cut through them.
The area was weird as well, somehow it was as if his senses were dampened just by being in the dark space.
