Chari was once again huddled underneath a table, watching the creature as it spun around to locate him.
It was a rather comical situation, a phantom lord hiding under a table in the presence of a beast.
Other phantom lords would have taken them head on, some with relative ease but here he was. It was laughable, yet, it was what he had to do.
He had already resummoned his galive but this time he was not going to use the same technique. For a a moment he considered using one of the enchantments of the glaive but decided against it.
Just as the creature turned around he moved once more, as swiftly as he could he knocked a table to the side to distract the creature but this time it didn't budge, it just stood unmoving.
And then it's head shot towards him, it's eyes narrowed.
'Damn.'
