Using the flames to launch himself to the other building Chari managed to escape the beast's charge. The entire roof where he had been standing was decimated as the body of the beast collided with it.
Chari watched the hole that was left in the spot where he once stood.
There was a short moment of silence and for a second he thought he would have to jumped in but it's hulking dark figure emerged shortly after, reaching him within seconds.
He took a step back as a massive claw cut through the air. The other claw was not far behind, Chari intercepted it with his glaive but was tossed to the side by the overwhelming force.
He had grossly underestimated the strength of the beast and now he was in a precarious position.
Summoning a wave of flames, Chari knocked himself to the side just as the beast launched another attack. The two massive claws scraped against the ground leaving deep marks on the building.
